lets make them bleed.
For my planning, I have researched how to create fake blood and limb tearing. Lovely, eh? :D Anyways, last night I had a look on youtube as there are so many related videos, but most of these made were American - and they all used Corn Syrup. CORN SYRUP?! what is that stuff. So I thought I'd take a look on google and the UK pages. Once I'd searched I had found a recipe for blood; yum. I am not worrying about quantities and ratios, so I just headed on downstairs, and started cooking. I first mixed Red Food Colouring with Honey/Golden Syrup. Golden syrup probably works better. For the first time I thought it was going well. I then added some Fairy Liquid - however, any washing detergent will do. This made the blood slightly liquidy, but darker in colour. The other recipe I tried, was similar but without the honey. This made it very watery and dark. I decided that I will use more honey, however, the Fairy Liquid gives it a darker colouring. I took a picture of the two fake bloods, and posted it on Facebook to see what people thought. Most people said that A - the one contaning honey and fairy liquid. This will give the perfect blood effect.
Losing a leg?
A friend of mine informed me about Indy Mogul, a group of people who enjoy creating Hollywood Stunts on a budget. I visited their youtube account and their website. http://www.indymogul.com/ On youtube, they show you how to create a fake ripping limb effect. I am considering using this idea, but on the arm, for for film. This along with the blood will make the scene look more interesting.
anyway, for now, gbye. xo
